About the event

The Canadian Federation of Mental Health Nurses is announcing February 21, 2024 as the first federally recognized National Mental Health Nurses Day. We invite you to acknowledge this special day by joining us at our exciting education event: “Promoting Mental Health Nurses Well-Being” from 12 Noon to 4PM Eastern.

 

We join our colleagues from the United Kingdom to recognize this International Mental Health Nurses’ Day on February 21, 2024. We invite all mental health nurses, their employers, organizations, associations, unions, scholars, and others to join in celebrating this unique, remarkable, and impactful field of nursing.

Goal: Promote Mental Health Nurses Well-Being

 

Purpose: Celebrate the accomplishments of Mental Health Nurses nationally and globally and examine the challenges and explore solutions.  

 

Theme: “Tools and techniques to enhance Mental Health Nurses well-being”

 

Outcomes:

Attendees will:

  1. take away practical knowledge and wisdom to guide their self-care and wellness regime for their well-being and to support their professional practice.    

  2. have an opportunity to connect and learn from colleagues nation-wide.
