The College of Nursing, University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure-track position. Based on experience, the successful candidate may be hired at the assistant professor, associate professor, or full professor level. The position is available at any one of our Saskatoon, Regina, and Prince Albert Campuses.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in the graduate and undergraduate programs, conducting research/ scholarship and contributing to the mission of the College of Nursing.
The Primary Campus of the University of Saskatchewan is situated in Treaty 6 territory and the Métis homeland and is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, a city with a diverse and thriving economic base, a vibrant arts community and a full range of leisure opportunities. The College of Nursing also has campuses in Regina (Treaty 4 territory) – the capital city of the province, and Prince Albert (Treaty 6 territory) – the gateway city to the north. The University has a reputation for excellence in teaching, research and scholarly activities and offers a full range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs to a student population of over 23,000.

- College of Nursing faculty members are dedicated to the education of a new generation of nurses with skills in interprofessional healthcare and health promotion. The College readily collaborates with the eight other health sciences colleges and schools at the U of S. These partnerships facilitate excellence in interdisciplinary health research, teaching, outreach, and community engagement.
- Our Learn Where You Live approach enables students to complete a full undergraduate degree in one of six communities throughout Saskatchewan (Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert; Île-à-la-Crosse, La Ronge, Yorkton). We also offer graduate programing (MN, MN-NP, and PhD) using distributed methods.
- Through well-established community partnerships the College has the highest recruitment and retention rate of Indigenous nursing students in Canada. Presently, 19% of BSN students are self-declared First Nation or Métis persons, and more than 90% successfully complete College of Nursing programs.
- College of Nursing faculty members lead vibrant research programs and professional practices that inform research, teaching, and practice.
A PhD from an accredited university is required at the time of appointment. Candidates should have at least one degree in Nursing, and be eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association.
Salary bands for this position are as follows: Assistant Professor: $93,293 to $112,109; Associate Professor: $112,109 to $130,925; and Professor $130,925 to $152,877.
